The area we visited in Nepal wasn't on one of the so called Coca Cola routes, but the much more quieter Ganesh Himal. After a visit to Kathmandu we drove to the little village Trisula Bajar at an altitude of 1640 ft (500m). For about two weeks we slowly ascended to 15.000 feet (approx 4500m). During the tour we passed several small villages including Singgang, the lead and zinc mines of Somdang and the beautiful woodcarved houses of Gatlang. In Kathmandu we visited Durbar Square.
